IBHSFranklin/Fulton SUMMARYTheClinical Specialist brings an enhanced level of knowledge and expertise in thearea of Applied Behavior Analysis for the IBHS ABA Group ServicesProgram.
The Clinical Specialist acts as the lead treatment team member bringingan enhanced level of knowledge and expertise in the area of Applied BehaviorAnalysis for the IBHS ABA Group Program (Sprouts).
Completing initialassessments and systematically making evidence-based changes in the environmentto positively affect each individual's behaviors and promote the use of lifeskills.
The Clinical Specialist develops and revises each child's ITP based ondata observed and collected by members of the treatment team.
ClinicalSpecialist will provide oversight of the implementation of the ITP and providesupervision and guidance to the Lead Instructors and Group Instructors workingin the group ABA program.
The Clinical Specialist is responsible for planningand organizing all group activities including but not limited to:
dailyprogramming, various community and life skills training, incorporation into thecommunity, field trips, and facilitating parent/guardian communication.
Withinthe group setting the Clinical Specialist will provide one-on-one support inskill acquisition and specific targeting of treatment plan goals.
The ClinicalSpecialist should be available during functioning hours of Group ABA Servicesin order to assist with any client issues or concerns that may develop.
TheClinical Specialist meets the qualification 5240.

? Commitment to these principlesin trauma treatment will be required through attendance in trainings and use ofidentified evidence-based practices.
? Trauma informed care includes culturalsensitivity and emphasizes a safe and respectful environment for all clientsand staff.
? DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES? ProvideBehavior Analytic Treatment service to all children participating in the IBHSABA Group Program (Sprouts).
? Design anddirect the implementation of behavioral intervention utilizing evidence-basedassessment and programming for all children in the group program.
? Administerskills assessments at entry and ongoing throughout treatment in the groupprogram.
? Utilizeevidence-based teaching/skill building curriculum (PEAK, VB-MAPP, Denver Model,ABLLS-R, etc.
)? Developindividualized treatment plans and supervise the implementation of the plans;completing functional analysis when indicated.
? Prepareprofessionally written summaries and documents describing a client's behaviorand progress in achievement of treatment plan goals.
? Completeregularly occurring data reviews (1x per each 6 week cycle)? Schedule andcomplete treatment team meetings to review progress once per round (6 week cycle) to all groupparticipants.
Invite parent/guardian and applicable treatment team members.
? Communicate regularly with parent/guardian regarding treatmentprogress.
Support and facilitate regular staff communication withparent/guardian.
Conduct individual meetings with parent/guardian upon request.
Return parent communication within 24hrs of a request.
? Plan andorganize all group activities including but not limited to:
daily programming, variouscommunity and life skills training, incorporation into the community, and fieldtrips.
? Ensure allgroup and site safety procedures are followed.
? Provideclinical oversight to the staff working onsite in the ABA Group programincluding:
Lead Group Instructor(s) and Group Instructor(s).
ClinicalSpecialist will work closely with the Lead Group Instructor(s) and GroupInstructor(s) to ensure treatment goals are being implemented accurately.
? Maintain clinicaldocumentation using electronic health record for all billable contact? Attendboth individual and group supervision.
? Providesupervision to any assigned RBT's according to Behavior Analyst CertificationBoard (BACB)Standards.
? Work as apositive team member supporting the team's mission and goals, consistentlyworking in a trusting and cooperative manner with fellow team members and supportingthe team's common operating approach.
? Acceptsprofessional responsibility and serves as a role model for positive, pro-socialbehavior; modeling respect, responsibility, integrity, empathy, impulsecontrol, emotional self-awareness, and professional boundaries.
? Demonstratescommitment to professional growth by attending all required meetings, trainingsand organizational trainings.
? An individualwho provides behavior analytic services will complete at least 16 hours oftraining annually that is approved by the PA Department of Human Services asoutlined in the individual training plan.
? Candidatewill have to successfully complete and maintain certification of ESPI training.
ESPI techniques are only used in compliance with Laurel Life policy andprocedure and within guidelines established by third-party experts in theproper and legal use of ESPI.
? Maintain anactive valid driver's license issued by state in which they reside and mustimmediately notify their supervisor or Human Resources if their license issuspended or revoked for any reason.
? May performother special projects or duties as requested.
SKILLSPossessspecific expertise in the areas of Autism and Applied Behavioral Analysis withthe ability to carry out individualized behavior programs using at least one ormore models of ABA (such as PEAK, Verbal Behavior, ABLLS-R, Competent Learner Model, Lovaas Model, Denver Model etc).
Training and experience in completion of Functional Behavioral Assessments(FBA's).
Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop effectiveand meaningful relationships with clients.
Must be able identifyunderlying causes of problem situations, and recommend non-aversive behavioralchange methods.
Must be a team player.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE BACKGROUND? Licensed inthe state of Pennsylvania as a psychologist, professional counselor (LPC),marriage and family therapist (LMFT), clinical social worker (LCSW), socialworker (LSW), behavior specialist (LBS), certified registered nursepractitioner, or a professional with a scope of practice that includesoverseeing the provision of ABA services.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
